Hi All,
I am new to servicenow, can anyone help me to know
1> if it possible to view incidents that are closed .
2>can we assign multiple tickets(change tasks/incidents) at a single go, by selecting all required tasks.

Yes we can update multiple records at once
Here is the wiki article that explains how to edit multiple records at once

Thanks a lot, editing multiple tickets worked.
But on checking the closed incidents, when i go to incidents->closed, all incidents appear, but when searched with an incident no. it says, no records to display.

all incidents appear
when you said all incidents means, is it all closed incidents?
make sure the incident that you are searching for is a closed incident (Active = false), also check whether the state is resolved or closed. If an incident is in Resolved state then it is still active, which means you are looking in wrong module.
