Hyperlinks in checklists

Users want to be able to create checklists and checklist templates that have hyperlinks to knowledge articles, intranet, etc. How can I accomplish this?

I provided a workaround to type (or copy and paste) the hyperlink and right-click it and use Go to (URL)...

No way to do this without a pretty massive client script hack, I'm afraid.  It would be a good enhancement request though.  For now, your workaround is about as good as it gets.
