I created an action assignment button but it isn't linking with the parent.

We want to be able to link an Incident to a problem from the problem ticket or the incident ticket.  I've been working linking an existing incident to a problem from the problem.  There wasn't an Add or Edit button and I was able to use action assignment and create the add button.  It pulls up the list of Incidents and I can select 1 or more and press add but nothing happens once I press add. This is problem record.

This is the action assignment.  The list that comes up is good just doesn't make the link.

Hi Sally, usually in a related list- say you have Problem form on the screen with related list Incident- this means it should show Incidents that make reference to the problem- if there is no edit button- as an admin you could right click- list control i believe and select an option called ENABLE EDIT-this will then enable you to locate an incident to relate to the problem- from the problem side.

Hi bammar,

The issue isn't in displaying the incidents.  The issue is after selecting 1 or more incidents nothing happens except you return to the screen with the option to create a "New" or "Add" existing incidents.  We want to be able to add existing incidents to a problem without having to go to all incidents and open each one individually and link from the incident.  The "New" options works as it should.

I've put in a "Hi" ticket and they can replicate the issue but haven't been able to resolve the issue.
