I do not want to see Dashboards in the Landing Page OR as soon as I login.

Hi,

In San Diego, we have new UI/Next Experience after we enable this "glide.ui.polaris.experience" System Property.

But as soon as I login, I see Dashboard. Which I do not want.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXDF6GAtAIg - In this video I see a landing page which is very useful and nice.

How can I get that? Please Help?

In U16 we had an option to select the landing page. I do not see that in Next Experience under "Preferences"

Thanks,

Vaishnavi

Hi Vaishnavi,

"glide.login.home" system property holds the default home page displayed in OOB instance.
You may create your own UI page, and include it in the property as needed.

Also if you create a workspace and created a landing page for it, you can provide the landing page path also in this property.

Please find the changes I have done to see the cmdb workspace whenever user hits the base url of instance.

Everytime we hit the https://<instance_name>.service-now.com url, it will auto redirect to "https://<instance_name>.service-now.com/now/cmdb/home" as shown below.

In the UI builder, build the experience you need and take the URL and use it in the property to make it as your home page.

Please visit below link and related links in the docs site to build the experiences you would like to have.

Below community article by Ashley Sanders will be helpful for you in getting started with landing page

Hi Subrahmanyam,

Thank you so much. But in the it says as soon as you login you see the workspace. Why it does not work like that for me?

Also, it the video it says "Manage" your instance and "Review your work" that will be much helpful for every User when they login I think.

HELP?

Thanks,

Vaishnavi
