I have a requirement to copy the incident and but I do not want to insert the record right away. It should create the new incident once click on Save.

Currently, the copy incident copies all the previous incident detail and create a new incident. But it sents the notification with old detail whenever the recorded incident as per notification condition.

Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Allen;

The above code which I sent on my last reply is my current configuration. I need to pass the value for the new script you mention (below). How to pass the required fields to the new incident ?

Hello,

I'm sorry. I'm confused.

You posted a question, with no script or information. I asked for information, but in that same post of mine, I gave you what the OOB "Copy Incident" UI Action is currently doing.

You then replied back with script...which I assumed is what you are currently using and wanted to expand on that to add more fields in...

So I tell you how...

Now you're posting something else (some other script).

I'm not sure then the point of your post with the "current configuration" was for then? That's where the confusion comes in.

Thanks

Hi Allen;

The last script I pasted is the OOB sript. In this script it copies all the field from Old incident to New Incident.

I am looking how to copy only few required field, not the all. Do you have any idea how to pass needed field instead of all.

Thanks
