i need to remove the seconds for date and time field in catalog item

Hi Team,

in the catalog item i have a field "start date" its a date and time field.

actually my requirement i need to remove the seconds , user can able to select only date and time , no need seconds.

can someone help me with the script.

Hi,

This is not possible.

Either you can use Date field or Date and Time.  We cannot customize behavior of particular field when it is date and time.

Anyway if the field is date and time user need to select date only, it takes hours, minutes and secods as per current time.

I would suggest to keep it as it is and don't disturb the OOB structure.

If it's date/time type then seconds is somewhat which will come

but as per my requirement client don't need a seconds in the field.

they required only date and time(hours and minutes).
