I have read all about the two spokes in the ServiceNow docs site, I can see that the Microsoft AD Spoke has a lot more OOB Actions available for use, and that the Microsoft AD v2 Spoke has a "v2" in it's name, also that the last update was more recent for the v2 version. Outside of these obvious things, what is the difference between these two spokes? The v2 sounds like it's newer and more recent, but has less built-in functionality. What do you gain with the v2? What do you lose by going with the older one?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I hadn't released there even was a V2.
Looking at the Store release notes for V2:
It states V2 provides:
Key Features
Group Membership
- Add User to Group
- Is User in Group
- Remove User from Group
User Authentication
- Change User Password
- Generate Random Password
- Is User Locked
- Reset User Password
- Unlock User
- Look up User Password Expiration Details
User Management
- Delete User
- Enable User
- Disable User
- Is User Disabled
- Does User Exist
and as you say AD Spoke (V1) seems to provide more functionality and is still available:
and provides:
Key Features
Group Management
- Add Owner To Group
- Add User To Group
- Create Office 365 Group
- Create Security Group
- Look Up Group Details
- Look Up Group ID
- Remove Owner From Group
- Remove User From Group
- Look Up Group Membership Stream
- Look Up Groups Stream
- Add Multiple Users To Group
License Managemen
- Assign User License
- Remove User License
Password Management
- Change User Password
- Generate Random Password
- Reset User Password
- Look up User Password Expiration Details
User Management
- Create User
- Delete User
- Disable User
- Enable User
- Is User Enabled
- Is User In Group
- Is User Owns Group
- Look Up User ID
So what is the point of V2 is anyone's guess at this point, as you say the newer version V2 seems to have less features.
Anyone from ServiceNow care to comment/clarify on this point?
Regards
Paul

Hello Everyone ,
I have read few details about this , as both them use for same functionality.
Main difference is AD spoke(old) requires integration pack subscriptions and new V2 version not require that's the main difference I found.
Important Note :
- Starting with the Vancouver release, Microsoft Active Directory Spoke is being prepared for future deprecation. It will be hidden and no longer activated on new instances but will continue to be supported. Microsoft Active Directory v2 Spoke provides the latest experience for this functionality. For details, see the Deprecation Process article in the Now Support knowledge base.
- This spoke is available as part of the family release. This spoke can be used to handle the computer objects.
I have this will resolve this question.
Please mark helpful and accepted solution for this.
Thanks & Regards
Supriya
