Hi everyone,
I'm working on a form with an optional Image type field and an email notification configured to trigger when a record is inserted.
The issue is that when I click “Click to add” in the Image field, ServiceNow saves the record immediately and sends the email notification before I can select and upload the image. After I select the image, it appears in the form, and the record saves automatically again.
I have here a screenshot of when I try to attach an image before filling in the mandatory fields and as you can see it's not allowing me because it is trying to submit the record first, which I do not want to happen before I attach an image
What I'm trying to achieve:
If a photo is uploaded, send the email with the image displayed inline in the email body.
If no photo is uploaded, send the email normally without an image.
Ensure the email is sent only once, without duplicate notifications when the image upload triggers another save.
Has anyone faced this issue? What would be the recommended approach?
Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The notification is an email that contains the message that is written in the form and an image that the user can optionally include.
When a record is inserted into the table the notification is sent.
