Import the legacy versions of the knowledge articles

Hello community experts,
I have a question. I am trying to implement knowledge management in my organization so as a part of that implementation, I have to upload multiple knowledge articles and their legacy versions as organization policy specifies us to maintain all the legacy versions as well. All the knowledge articles and their legacy versions are in word format(docx) in a sharepoint site.
I can use the OOTB "import article" method to import all the knowledge articles, but I don't know how to import legacy versions, which should be captured as article versions in the related list of the published article. If there is a way, can anyone of you help me with that?

Hi @Srikanth Menava

If you import the article via the import method, you will get only the latest version. Out-of-the-box, there is no way to get the legacy version of the article.

Thanks for the response,
It doesnt have to be import method, i can use any other metho but all I want is kb articles and their legacy versions.  The whole question is which method can be used to get legacy vesions too.

Hi @Srikanth Menava

I doubt, mate, that it can be done in any way. The version is maintained locally, outside of ServiceNow, which you want to import, but only the latest version—the final one—gets moved.
