Increasing export limit in Excel

Hi all,

We are running Istanbul and it looks like we have a hard limit of 10,000 rows for Excel. I found a setting in the ServiceNow console under System Properties --> Import Export with a Save button but I cannot change anything even with a priviledged account. The default value is 10,000 for .xlsx files but it looks like there is no way to edit this number. Need to know what I am doing wrong. There is just a Save button which tells me there must be some way to change these values.

Thanks

You can also try doing it form System Properties->Import Export

You can directly go the sys_properties table and update the property glide.excel.export.limit to 50000 and try. Also do a cache.do after changing the settings.

Thanks. I saw that but there is no way to change the values. Just a Save button in the upper right corner but the values are read only. Do I need to be a member of a group? Why a Save button if you can't change anything. Logged in with an Admin account. Very strange. I also do not see a property called glide.excel.export.limit under Excel. Do I need to add it? What is cache.do? I am a novice.

Are you on a different application instead of Global Application. You may need to change to Global to save your properties.

Can you send a screenshot of your screen Is save button disabled for you. it is working fine for me.
