When sending comms using the Major Incident Management workbench, is it possible to view on ServiceNow the email communication that has just been sent?

I will do thank you Brian

Hi @Mark Prior ,

How did you solve this?

Hi, as Brian said in the previous post it is possible to see a record of the mail being sent in the updates section of the form.

However, what we were originally after was to see it as a fully visible update the same as when the work notes list is updated for example rather than having to select the show email details option each time.

I also reached out to ServiceNow and was informed that it was not part of the functionality but to raise it as a request for change and they would review it to possibly add it in future releases.

We are on Rome and it still doesn't seem to have gone in yet, so we are manually copying and pasting the emails that we send from Outlook into the work notes to keep an audit of communications.

Hi @Mark Prior ,

Thanks for your response, but I can view those email which are sent by the Notification source. But I am unable to see those from the X-ServiceNow-Source: EmailClient. Those sent using the communication plan are different from the regular notifications.

Communication plan Notifications are created on the sys_email_client_template but I am unable to see those in the activity list.

I can see that it was sent on the sys_email_list table.

That is the same reason why I raised this on here 2 years ago. I was told to raise a HI ticket where I was told that the feature that you are referring to is not in ServiceNow at the moment.
