Issue with mandatory field

Hi All,
I have a field which is mandatory so as it should be but issue is that this field is with no value but field is no longer mandatory (no red)... what can be a reason?

It is mandatory but issue is the fied you select to show in field has no value. It is due to poor data. like in my pdi
Caller is there but the field has no value to display.

@Kasia5 Does this happen with an existing record or it happens with new record as well? If it happens with an existing record only then please check the XML of the record and see if there is a sys_id shown associated with Kontakt field.
Mostly this issue occurs on the reference fields when record in table referenced in the reference field is already deleted.

Hi @Kasia5 ,
The mandatory field has been greyed out because there is empty record selected please check the i symbol (reference icon)and check whether the selected value is correct or not, if you are autopopulating please check whether its populating correct value.
