Has anyone used the official JAMF Integration that is available in the ServiceNow store? Any reviews or thoughts?

Hi Howard, Since I wrote my initial review, JAMF has added an additional integration in the ServiceNow app store that does not require the need for ServiceNow orchestration. It's purely a discovery source for assets/CIs. They changed the design and leveraged many of the suggestions I listed above. A 3rd party company called Aeritae maintains the integration. You can contact them directly at https://aeritae.com/jamf-support/ I haven't used the new integration, so I can't speak too in depth.
JAMF Webhooks documentation can be found here. http://docs.jamf.com/9.96/casper-suite/administrator-guide/Webhooks.html

Hi @scotthal,
I'm working on a similar JAMF integration and wondering if you could share the extension attributes you were using to discover the installed Software details (publisher, make, model, etc).
Thanks!

Hello Scott
Thanks for posting this info. I currently have a basic REST integration with JAMF to import Mac workstations into ServiceNow. Our Desktop team now wants to implement software distribution through our Service Catalog. Is this something you've implemented with ServiceNow and JAMF?
Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick,
I have not done the software installation. Since I originally wrote this article the paid for application has been split into two apps. One that is for populating the CMDB/Asset Management and a seperate one that leverages orchestration to automatically distribute apps and content to macs. I'd try out the free trial.
