But works only when authentication required check box is unchecked in scripted rest api . It is not working with check box enabled in scripted rest api . Any one had any suggestions?

If you decide to try an alternative way for making the integration between the two, you can take at the tool we used - a connector, called zigiops. It's easy to use and very flexible.

Hi
The ServiceNow-Jira integration connector from ServiceNow is one option that you may consider for Jira integration with ServiceNow through scripted rest API.
However, if you are looking for any alternatives for ServiceNow and Jira integration, which can integrate data for free, OpsHub is an excellent option. An Atlassian partner and a certified integration tool, OpsHub provides a federated integration platform that can help ease your integration journey. The Community Edition integrates all standard-issue types between ServiceNow and Jira. OpsHub also takes care of more complex and advanced use cases like:
- Format retention: ServiceNow and Jira use different rich text formatting standards which are similar but not equivalent. ServiceNow uses HTML text formatting, while Jira uses Wiki markup text formatting. OpsHub would retain the format when integrating data between ServiceNow and Jira.
- Assignment group – project: ServiceNow and Jira organize data differently. For example, Jira users use Projects, whereas ServiceNow users often use 'Assignment Group' or some other field for organizing their data. With OpsHub, data can be mapped across different Jira projects based on the ServiceNow Assignment group.
- Comments type: ServiceNow allows users to add customer-visible comments and work notes for internal use. You can configure the type of comments you want to integrate to Jira.
- Field-level conflict management: If you are looking to integrate data bidirectionally, data may be updated simultaneously in ServiceNow and Jira. Factor in the need for Conflict Management in such cases.
- Dynamic user mapping: If you want to integrate user fields like Assignee, Reporter, etc. If the username is not the same, you can map the users dynamically without mapping each user (one by one).
- Data Granularity: OpsHub integration solution also integrates history between ServiceNow and Jira. E.g., between the two syncs, if the user modifies the status from Open -> In Progress -> Resolved in Jira, the OpsHub integration tool allows users to see the exact transition (Open -> In Progress -> Resolved) happening in ServiceNow too.
While all the above features are available in the Community edition for standard Jira issue types, the Commercial Edition additionally supports integrating advanced entity types like Jira Portfolio items, various add-ons, Planning items, etc. For ServiceNow & Jira integration, we are happy to assist in your integration planning.
