Knowledge Article attachments are not opening in portal , instead they are downloaded.

Hello,

Attachments in Knowledge Article are not opening, instead they are getting downloaded in servicenow portal both in Sandiego and Rome version. Can anyone please help me with the issue.

the OOB Document Viewer works only in platform UI only.

Thanks for the reply.

As checked in the procedure of enabling document viewer, I'm still not able to open the attachment inspite of plugin and property enabled. Can you please tell me in which table I have to add the attribute field, I have added in all these tables kb_article_template,kb_department,kb_knowledge,kb_knowledge_base,kb_category, but still can't open.

Hi, You mentioned that its downloading the article attachment from portal. Hope you referring to Service portal. If yes then it won't work as it's a limitation in SetviceNow.
