Major Incident Management : How can we automate the Communication task after a first task is sent.

Hi Everyone,

 

I am working on the Major incident management application in ITSM and got a requirement from the customer that if we can send the automated communication via email channel or MS Teams (already integrated for INC, CHG and SRM to chat with users) to a specific MS Teams channel.

Also, How to send the MS teams group chat notification via a collaborative task. I have added the MS Teams Notification channel in communication plan definitions. If we send any notification from DEV environment, then actual user is not getting any notification in MS teams. 

 

Currently, we are able to send the manual communication task via email to ServiceNow users and groups.

Also, how do I send the recurring communication tasks automatically to a MS teams channel or ServiceNow users/groups without manual intervention, it should send every 30 minutes?

 

If anyone has come across a similar requirement or has any ideas or suggestions on how to achieve or implement it, then please reply to this post.
