Merge user groups

Is there a process to merge one or more groups into a single group of users?

You could create a parent group then add the other groups as children to it.

Thanks tomalday.   I really wanted to merge existing groups, but this is a useful tip, thank you. I'll investigate if this design approach will fill the bill going forward.
