Not able to edit details list view details

Hi All,

I am trying to update the details from list view on incident table but here if I click on particular field value then left column field value is populating. You can see the screenshots.

If I click on short description field then you can see the below screenshots.

So how can we fix this issue. For every field value showing the left side value while editing and it is happening for task table also.

Hello @ak49

which ServiceNow release are  you using? This looks a ServiceNow bug to me and nothing that could be fixed with a configuration on your side. 
One of the first things I typically do in those situations is to clear the cache of the instance through typing in "chache.do" in the filter navigation. Sometimes some smaller bugs like this are solved that way (especially displaying bugs in newer features such as Flow Designer, App Engine ...). 

 

If thats not working, I would suggest opening a ticket directly with ServiceNow via the HI portal.

Ok I will do that I mean clear cache but Will the data from the instance be lost? because I'm working with a client instance.
