Not able to see default value in multiline text

im merging multiple catalog into a single catalog form but im not able to see default value for multiline text.

same im able to see for main catalog but not for merging one.

Any suggestion will be helpful.

Just to clarify, the Variable typ = Multi Line Text? And you dont see the Default value Tab?

If So, check the view on the Variable Form, if its on default or any other view. (Click on the hamburger icon top left -> View -> Default view.)

When i enter a value into the default value field of a variable, i expect it to be shown in protal but im not seeing any value. The variable type is multiline text and i have ried with setVaule methos as wel but no luck.

do you want placeholder text like this for multi-line text variable?

it works for single line text and multi-line text variable using Example Text
