Hi,
we have configured notifications using workflow. but the issue is related to the delay time of receiving the emails. the delay time increases with 5- 15 min. How can I make it faster is there any way to reduce the time for sending the emails?
thanks in advance...!!!

Hi there,
It can be multiple things. For example, when is the actual email generated through your workflow? Is there already a delay in that, or is the email instantly generated?
Emails are being queued and processed with a small delay (out-of-the-box a schedule handles this every 2 minutes I believe). So it could be that the schedule will pickup your email after a second, though it could also be that the schedule just already ran and now it will take almost 2 minutes before it runs again.
Another thing to check, is there perhaps a backlog of emails in the queue? This will delay the eventual processing also.
If emails are actually send rapidly and you are able to see this in your instance, though receiving several minutes later in individuals email inbox, than you have to search outside of ServiceNow for the issue.
Kind regards,
Mark
