NOW can not send notification to distribution list

Hi NOWers,

I just want to confirm that can we send notification to DL (distribution list which is created in local outlook server)?

I tried with insert DL address to watchlist or bind it to Group email, it does not work.

So personally assumption is the DL not a real email address, so NOW could not parse it .

Do you have experience? thank you for contribution.

Yes you can send email to a DL from Servicenow.

Hi,

Servicenow uses a different domain to send emails to your organization.  In order to send emails from Servicenow to your DL, you must configure your DL to accept/receive emails from external domain like "@servicenow.com".

for my question the result is: DL is working ,but our email setting with servicenow blocked, so contacted with Administrator, finally it be fixed now.
