Outage created in cmdb_ci_outage table is not showing service portal Current Status.

I am creating a outage in cmdb_ci_outage table. but the outage is not showing up in Service Portal as expected

Is there any place I need to make changes so that  outage shows up in service portal 

please suggest

Yes I have Current status widget on my service portal.

when I add a new outage in cmdb_ci_outage table the outage is not showing in Current Status widget in portal.
