Hi All,
On a Variable set which is part of the catalog item, 'Requested for' field is not visible. However on the catalog item we want to field to be visible. In this case can we override the UI policy of the variable set on the Catalog item?

Hi,
You can set a specific catalog item UI Policy (with a higher order number) to show that field with no condition set. This would run after the one included with the variable set and sort of "override" that UI Policy, for example.
This allows you to adjust things per catalog item and not mess with the variable set UI Policies/Scripts.
Ideally though, your variable sets would be built in a way that is to remain consistent, on purpose. So if that UI Policy is part of the variable set, it should be applicable 99% of the time to every catalog item the set is associated with.
