Trying to find more information on defining and documenting Personas. More and more there is the term Persona being thrown around and I would like to better understand how they are determined, documented and managed as we move forward with the overall management of the Platform and associated Processes. Is there any reference material on what Personas are, what they are generally used for and how people are leveraging them across the platform.

I can give you the "Chuck Tomasi Definition" of them. Aside form something like Dictionary.com, I don't know of anything authoritative that defines them in this context.
A persona is a role - if you were to draw the swim-lane flow diagram in Visio - each persona would have their own lane based on the roles/responsibilities they do for that process.
Example:
- Requester - Someone who makes the request to get a product or service fulfilled.
- Fulfiller - the person/group responsible for delivering that product or service
- Approver - the person/group who makes the decision if the product or service will be delivered by the fulfiller
That's a good simple example of three personas in a typical service delivery process. Yours may have more or less and different definitions. It's up to you based on your process.

Thanks. Pretty much aligned to my thinking.
