Hi @Gopal14,
This usually comes down to something missing in the approval setup in Prod. A few quick things to check:
Approval Policies
In Prod, go to Change Approval Policies and compare them with Test. If they’re missing or different, export from Test and import into Prod.Flow Designer
Make sure the Change – Standard – Proposal flow is active in Prod. If it’s inactive or approval is skipped, you’ll see this error.Approvers
Open the change record and look at the Related Records → Approvers tab. If it’s empty, the flow can’t create approvals. Confirm the Change Management group exists in Prod and has active members.sysapproval_approver
After clicking Request Approval, check if records are created in sysapproval_approver. If nothing shows up, the issue is upstream (policy or flow).Custom Business Rules
If you have custom BRs on Change or Approval tables, make sure they’re not interfering in Prod.
Most of the time, it’s missing approvers or inactive users in the group. Once that’s fixed, the button should work fine.
Hope that helps! Let us know what you find.
