Remove rejected Change approvals from change request

I need help with the BR script or workflow action to delete the approvals on change request.

Is it possible to have approvals removed when a change is rejected and sent back to new?  Meaning, a change gets approved by someone, then rejected by someone else, then it goes back to a new state. When the change is resubmitted for approval, the old approval and rejection is still on the change. How can we make it so these are removed? Also, as the notes retain this information, I don’t see how this could be an audit issue.

Thanks

hi @MR1 I am sure you could remove the approval(admins can manually do it) but I would ask why you would want to do this?

The approval trail gives you a clear audit trail and history of approvals on a change. It is important for Auditing the Change ITIL process to have a history of Approvals present.

For example if you removed the approvals, an auditor may look to additional evidence for the approvals and may not consider the historical comment as robust.

I'd recommend you leave the Approval history intact

we want to remove the approvals from the Approval list and copy it to the change request activity log.

Thanks
