Reopening of a Service Request !!

Hi there...

Have any one implemented reopening of service request in tool??
If so could you please share the approach.

When the request is closed , we give the requestor to reopen the ticket by either replying to the email or we have a reopen button on some of the form's where the requestor can reopen the ticket within 7 days it is been closed...

Have you made request form visible anytime for End user?


Again on reopening of the ticket all approval process and task activities are rolled back?


form is visible seven days it was last closed .... we are attaching a new workflow on reopening the ticket ....

                when you say reopen button is it a widget button on the portal?

we are trying to re open a requested item either by email button in notification or from the portal widget button.
