Anytime I open a RITM, the view defaults to Self Service View and I have to manually change it to default.   I have gone to Form Layout, changed the view to default and saved it, but it always goes back to Self Service view.

Any ideas why I can't get Default view to stay?

How do you go about getting to the RITM view? What application and modules are you using?

Check for these two things:


1. Do you have view rule for RITM, may be you have force view rule and thats the reason you are defaulting to self service view.

2. If you are opening RITM from module, you ma have default view for module:


sysparm_result_view=view_name

2. System Definition --> Modules:


Search for the module you are using to open RITM Title= <module name>


Open the module: and look under Link Type tab.


In Arguments field check if you have sysparm_result_view=<view_name>
