Requesting DB View to allow reporting on related Project Tasks, Changes, and Outages

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to working on stories and not getting the below requirement, can someone please help me on this:

Requesting DB View to allow reporting on related Project Tasks, Changes, and Outages. An M2M table exists for Changes and Project Tasks: M2m Change Reque Project Task [u_m2m_change_reque_project_task]. The expectation is a DB View with a Join to the Outage related to the target Change will allow for reporting needs.

Not sure what this has to do with stories, but what did you already try and failed? It sounds like adding the outage table to the DB view would suffice?

Hi @Abbas_5 

 

These three are three different tables where changes and outages related with each other. I can’t say exactly what is improving the project task there, so please provide more details to help you better.

Also, if you just need to track changes and outages, go to Reports, create a report on the Change table, and in the related list select the Outage part and your work done.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG,

 

Below is the requirement:
The request is to expose Outage columns in addition to what's available in the Project Tasks and Change view. There is a sample report included for that existing View with Project Task and Change columns included. The expectation is we would be able to add columns from the Outage table to that type of List report.
