RITM Approvals in Now Mobile app

Ok I have an odd thing happening with RITM approvals in the mobile app.  Here is the scenario:

 

User:

- My Tasks shows the correct number of approvals for this user

- My Approvals list view, does not show the RITM approvals even though the count was accurate on the previous screen

- Has itil role

- Has approver_user role

- Can see RITM approvals in itil backend

- Can see RITM approvals in the Service Portal

- Cannot see RITM Approvals in Now Mobile app

 

Provide user with "itil_admin" role:

- Can now see RITM Approvals in Now Mobile app

 

Can anyone explain what is going on here?  I've looked at the sysapproval_approver table ACL rules and I don't see anything there that should be blocking this in the Now Mobile app.  So why is it that the "itil_admin" role allows them to see approvals in the app, but not the "itil" role.

 

Is there a script include or something else going on that would be causing a permission issue?
