Dear Community Members,
We have different service catalogs and each catalog has different catalog items. Is there a way to restrict ITIL users for accessing other catalog items?
For example, VPN Support Program Group Should see only VPN Catalog Incidents and Requests and not Hardware Support Program Incidents and Requests.
Regards,
Burhan

Hi @Burhan Shah ,
GO a head and create a user critera, on any catalog item realted list you must be able to see a section called available for and not available for. Here you can control the accessablity of the catalog item based on role, group , depts etc...
I hope this helps... If you dont see such options go to configure > realted list > add both the options.
if still its not available then you need to enable the user critera plugin from plugin store. (i hope you must have it by default)

Hello Sohail,
Thank you for your reply.
We already have user criteria available but my requirement is not for an end user.
We have different assignment groups for different catalog items for ITIL users. We want to restrict the ITIL users to resolve/view only those tasks assigned to their assignment group.
Regards,
Burhan

Hello Burah Shah,
To restrict ITIL users follow the steps
1- Open the catalog item from 'Maintain Item'
2- Go to 'Not Available for' under related links
3- Click on 'New'
4- Select the role in Role option (ITIL)
5- Submit
If you find this Solution Useful then hit the like button and mark the solution as a Helpful

Hi @Burhan Shah
You can use the user criteria for the same and that under available For or Not Available for in catalog item as per need.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
