Role that gives access to Catalog Variables in Filter Builder on RITM List

On the list of Requested Items (RITMs), we can set a filter on the Variables by selecting the appropriate Catalog Item first and then selecting the variables available under that Catalog Item as shown in below image.

I have observed that an ITIL User can see and select only the variables that are created directly under the Catalog Item but not those variables that are created under a Variable set and linked to that Catalog Item.

I am trying to find out if there is any role that gives access to users just to see all the variables (created directly under Catalog Item + created under variable set and linked to Catalog Item). Is there any way to achieve this?

There are some roles like "catalog_editor", "category_manager", "catalog_lookup_admin" that gives this access, but I don't want to use them as they give higher level of access to user like creating and maintaining Catalogs/ Categories/ Catalog Items.

The solution for this issue is to allow access to the targeted users in the following ACLs. These ACLs restrict access to the tables that store the catalog item and variable sets mapping and also the variable set to variables mapping:
