SAM - Asana Integration - Additional Users

Hi,

We have managed to use the OOTB SaaS Integration for Asana.

We compared the user subscription list from Service Now to the Asana Portal and noticed a lot of additional users that is not in Asana Portal.

Majority is where the user's have left the business but Asana Integration is still picking up the user's.

Rest of the user's are still in the business. I asked a few user's and they said they clicked on the link and created an account.

So if I choose the domain @centrica.com within the setup of Asana Integration would that means anyone who has signed in with email address @centrica.com will show under the User Subscription in Service Now but may not show in the Asana Portal?

Sorry for the long explanation. Bit confused.

I have attached a screenshot of Asana Portal and User Subscription from Service Now so you understand the mis match with the numbers.

I have emailed Asana and they said the only paid subscription is what we see in Asana Portal

Thank you so much. This is helped but we ran into another issue where we are receiving personal project a workspace and that causes error on our side. Have you come across that situation ? How can we stop receiving personal projects from API to ServiceNow.

Thank you
Nitin

Hi @Nitin Panchal

No never came across of that issue. I saw this thread - Getting all projects via API, regardless of membership - English Forum / Developers & API - Asana Fo...

Thanks

Thank you, Neena, for your response. The issue we faced involved receiving personal projects from Asana, even though we had set up domain-specific workspaces to pull. When ServiceNow attempts to pull these personal project workspaces, the Asana API throws an HTTP 400 error. The solution is to deactivate the personal project workspace in Asana. Steps here [Deactivating a Workspace in Asana](https://help.asana.com/hc/en-us/articles/23455620058651-Managing-workspaces#gl-deactivate-workspace). This may be helpful for anyone encountering a similar issue.

Regarding the issue you're facing, I noticed a similar behavior where, despite setting up specific domains to pull workspaces, Asana integration still pulls everything .

Thanks

Nitin
