Search bar on Service portal is overlapping with widgets

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we need to add a search bar (out of Box) on a background image of home page, We were able to add the image and place the search bar as required.

The issue we are facing is when we type some text in search bar the suggestion bar   which it shows below the text is getting overlapped with the widgets present in the container and some text is not visible.Please suggest a way to rectify this. We are using "TypeAhead Search" widget which is an OOB, The same widget when we place it in some other page its working fine.

may b it is because OOB css style is affected by your custom style somewhere.

it should have white background then you will be able see data properly.

inspect the list in browser developer tools n see if color is overridden by something else..

you should see something like this

.dropdown-menu class is setting background as white...see if something is overriding it.

I couldnt find any background colour overlapping. Could you please suggest me any another alternative solution, when i tried to put same widget in soe other place its working fine.

I am able to change the background color but it still overlaps. Please find the screen shot attached with background colour changed.
