Self Service Portal Usage Stats

Hello, i am looking for some advice in regards to getting usage stats from the Self Service Portal.

This like, number of visits to the sites, where the users are located, items they are clicking on (that type of thing)

If anyone has a good way can they please share

Is there a way to get historical content using the portal usage reports? ours only shows last 3 months and we need data from the last year.
