Sender Name in Email client template from Major Incident Management

Is it possible to send the full name of the User who is sending/composing the email without creating a script include?   
The following variables do not work:

${current.user_id.name}
${gs.getUserDisplayName()}
${gs.getUser().getDisplayName()}

${gs.getUser().getDisplayName()}

Sorry, I was too quick: ${current_user.name} works perfectly fine!
