Service Bridge

Hi,

We have two instances. one is for CSM(instance A) & other is for ITSM(instance B).  
Now the requirement is When a case is created & assigned  to specific "XXX" group, the incident should be created in other instance(ITSM).
IS it possible through Service bridge?

 

Note: I have installed "SB for provider" plugin in CSM instance(A). And "SB for Consumer" plugin in ITSM instance(B)

Hi,

 

You have steps described here for provider and here for consumers.

Ignore the part for the remote choice and catalog item sync as you don't need it.

Hi, Instead of using Service Bridge you can Instance Data Replication (IDR) solution for your requirement. I'm not sure why you specifically looking from Service Bridge area.

Service Bridge Remote Task is designed for task-level integration between instances. It enables direct interaction between workflows in different environments—like linking CSM and ITSM processes without needing complex custom solutions.

 

On the other hand, IDR focuses more on replicating datasets across instances for data consistency, which would not address the operational workflows or task-level interactions required in this scenario without some customization.
