Session expired message on login for end users

Hi,

I have an issue where when end users log into ServiceNow a message is displayed stating "Your Session has expired. Click OK to continue."

When you click ok it continues to load ServiceNow fine - this is by logging in the normal way

However, when you add /login.do on the end of the url and log in - ServiceNow loads fine without an error popup.

This is causing frustration to the end users - does anyone know what might be the issue here?

Notes:

Installation exits have not been touched - compared to a demo environment and are exactly the same

Welcome Page Content has not been touched - compared to a demo and are exactly the same

Checked sys_properties for login and the redirect is exactly the same as a demo site

Users with "out of box" roles login without any issues

I have created a new role called "empty" added it to one of the end users and this user still gets the error when logging in

Any help on how to debug the login would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jamie

please the sys_cache_flush.list.

try clearing all the cache entries if any.

also do you have single-sign on enabled ? do you have the logout button visible to all users ?
