Hi Community,
I'm experiencing an issue in ServiceNow where the first approval step is skipped when I order an item. Here’s a brief overview of the setup:
Scenario: When an item is ordered from the Service Catalog, it's supposed to go through a series of approval steps.
Problem: The first approval stage is being bypassed, and it directly goes to the next step or is auto-approved.
Approval is not going to requestor manager
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,
Can you share screenshot of first approval activity?
If the approval is sent to manager make sure user has manager (check in user table)

@rohitgotefode3 I hope you're doing well. Could you please confirm that the “Requested For” user has an active manager who is not locked out in their user record, and also the “Requested For” user record itself includes a manager? This is a standard use case where approval is bypassed if these conditions for the manager are met. Additionally, could you share a screenshot of the workflow execution? Thank you!
