Hi Team,
Recently we introduced Change Models in our client instance and noticed a different behavior than usual.
Observed behavior:
For Normal and Emergency changes:
Change Type is read-only
Change Model field is editable
For Standard (pre-approved templates) change model:
Change Model field is read-only
Change Type is editable
Change Model field remains blank, even though the change is created using a Standard Change Model
Question: Is it expected behavior for a Standard (pre-approved templates) change to have the Change Model field read-only but not auto-populated?
Or should the Change Model value be populated automatically?
Please let me know if any configuration or creation method needs to be checked.
Thanks in advance.

I am having this problem where standard change picked from provided options, is leaving the MODEL field blank, which in turn is preventing the flow from attaching and starting. How to get the MODEL field to fill in with the correct values without editing files we are not supposed to edit? I have tried the CHANGE MODELS under administration, and added model - standard under standard for example, but it stil does not work. I already edited the property so I can at least SEE the model field, but its empty and I do not know why.

Figured it out.
com.snc.change_management.change_model.type_compatibility set to FALSE and this is resolved.
