Hi all,
I'm working on a survey and would like to make a question mandatory based on the answer to a previous question. Here’s the setup I’m aiming for:
- Question 1: "How do you rate the service?" (with answers ranging from 1 to 5)
- Question 2: "Please give us some feedback." (This question should be mandatory if the response to Question 1 is 1 or 2).
I've considered a few options:
- Using a client script: I wasn't able to test this since I couldn't identify the correct table to target.
- Duplicating Question 2: I could create two versions—one mandatory and one not—then show/hide them based on the rating. However, this approach complicates reporting.
Has anyone here set up a similar configuration? Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Miguel

I have the exact same requirement and are also looking into using a client script since the duplicating question would require a lot of extra work (mainly lots of reports rebuilding). It is a mystery to me why there is no condition options on surveys for that, but if I manage to make it work, I will let you know.
Best regards
