The checkbox 'Use Global desciptions for translations' not working.

Hi All,
I am on San Diego version and the check box Use Global desciptions for translations which is available in HR Task Template is not working. When I'm changing the language to Spanish I'm still getting same Short Description text in English (refer the screenshot). I already have the plugins for Brazilan Portuguese and Spanish activated in my instance.
Please help me if I'm missing anything here-

Note: The field GLOBAL SHORT DESCRIPTION is of type TRANSLATED TEXT.

Hello,
I believe it won't work by default unless you add entries in translation tables, Please go through below link to understand how to debug translations and in which table you need to make an entry. I believe you should add entry in sys_translated_text table.

Hi
You can not translate the field values you can translate only fields, variables, choices etc.
