The following fields have been deprecated and should not be used: groups, users

Hi,

Can anyone help me out with the following message in Service Now : The following fields have been deprecated and should not be used: groups, users

We just upgraded from Calgary to Fuji version.

One of our testers made the remark that he couldn't see some reports that he had before.

When I checked via Reports => View / Run.

And when I opened the report I got the following message :   The following fields have been deprecated and should not be used: groups, users

Does this mean that sharing of reports totally changed?

We have many reports that are shared to a certain user or user or to a group or groups.

How can we limit the view of reports to a small group of users in Fuji release?

Hi,

sorry for the late reply.

but eventually I contacted HI for a solution.

It seems that my issue was caused by a known problem :   PRB631892

I am currently running Fuji patch 5 and the issue will be resolved if you install patch6

sharing is now controlled with the share button under the save menu inside the report...

the fields will still work. you should just consider changing the way the reports are configured to get rid of the group/people fields and use the new sharing feature

Hi,

I already found the sharing option under the save menu.

And I do have sharing options for the reports in question but still they are not visible.

emulate the user and see if you are getting an x lines removed by security constraints in the group report tab... if so you have an ACL issue... turn on security rule troubleshooter emulate the user and load that screen then look to see which acl's are not letting him in... Fuji turns on high security and can cause a few ACL issues.
