Unable to access reference field records of sctask when we are creating sctask from the related list

Hi Team,

 

I am unable to access the reference field records of sctask when we are creating the sctask from the related list of RITM new button.

We are trying to give Assignment group in the sctask manually but we couldn't and we tried with all the reference fields but not working. 

I am attaching the screenshot for your reference.

Please help me out this & Thanks in advance.

Do you have existing Catalog Task records for a recent request from this Catalog Item that were created via flow or workflow?  If so, do they (still) open correctly?  There are 3 places to look for Client Scripts and scripted UI Policies - in the Catalog Item, in any (single-row) variable sets included in the Catalog Item, and on the sc_task table.  Also look for Business Rules on the sc_task table that specify this Catalog Item.  Right after this happens check the System  Logs and your browser tools console log for any errors.

Hi Manusha,

 

Usually reference field functionality does not change though you create it from related list. You can try below and debug why it is  happening.

->  Create catalog task from left nav by typing sc_task.do, then sc_task form opens and check if reference field works

If this is working then there is some difference - but usually this should not happen

else check the dictionary attribute of reference field if there is any reference qualifier that is blocking.

It's not working for only one catalog item and working for remaining items. 
I could not find the solution for this. Can you please help me on this.
