unable to remove a question from survey designer

Friends,

Unable to remove a question from PIR survey in survey designer.

The X mark not showing up to remove . I am unable to remove the highlighted one, but in our DEV environment I am able to do so.

Recently we upgraded to Orlando, both Dev and Prod are in orlando version.

Can you help me please?

Note: You can only edit a survey that has the same application scope as that of your current session.

As a workaround you can always create a copy of your survey and then all your questions will become deletable  (the X symbol will appear next to each and every question in the survey)

I don't have the X mark, but I was able to grab the question on the left where the two rows of dots are and drag it off the canvas. That effectively deleted the survey question.
