Unable to select task created under if flow logic

Hi,

  I want to know if this is how flow designer works in Servicenow. I have created catalog task under If logic in Servicenow, I want to update the status of this catalog task if RITM is opened, but the catalog task that got created under if logic is unavailable for selection. In below screenshot you can see under 8 (if) i have created a catalog task but that is unavailable to select for Update record.

I believe you will have to query for it because it's nested in an IF statement so it's not guaranteed to be available.
