Unable to Send Email from ServiceNow PDI to Outlook

Hi Community,

I’m trying to send emails from my ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance (PDI) to Outlook, but I’m running into issues.

Configuration Details: Attached SS

What Works:

  • Sending emails to Gmail works fine.

What Fails:

  • Sending emails to Outlook results in:
    • Status: send-retry-delayed

Steps Tried:

  • Enabled SMTP AUTH for the user.
  • Generated App Password and updated in ServiceNow.

No idea, mate. I’ve only used Gmail. For Outlook, you might need the correct server details or configuration.

@schetry  Did you get any solutions, same issue im facing in pdi. Even though SMTP connection is successful cant able to sent email to outlook.

 

In email logs it says type as sent
