Hi,
I'm attempting to add a Work Note to a catalog task with a Flow. Fairly basic (see image) however the resulting note is defaulting to an Additional Comment instead of a Work Note, resulting in an email being fired. Any idea how to set this?

Well, it could be the notification is incorrectly configured, vs the flow.
That field update sure as hec looks like a work_note update.
Since we can't see the whole flow... is that the only place you're updating a task? Not possible that you had a different kind of update earlier/later in the flow and mis-keyed the field you want to update?
Did you look at the Task itself? Most of the time work notes are highlighted in yellow in the activity log.

I don't thinks so, I mean, it does go in intact, it just takes the unwanted extra step of making it an Additional Note, similar to if it was being done directly in the task and the user checked the Additional Comments checkbox. Any idea how that particular functionality toggles -- the variable is still a work_note (there is no other variable for that function), it's like it has a property assigned to it that makes it an Additional Comment.

So it turns out it wasn't coming from this flow, but from an OoB action:
Unfortunately this action appears to be locked down. Wondering if there are ways to get around this?
