Using tab in 2 column variable layout on order guide

Hi guys,

We have encountered a little issue and are looking for a possible way around it.

I have created an order guide and added a variable set I have created.

The variable set contains 2 columns with the users personal data.

If I tab on the keyboard it tabs down through the first column before starting across at the second.

We would like it to tab horizontally. So in the printscreen attached we want it to tab from first name to surname to Job title to Department and so on.

Is this possible?

Hi,

Try to make variable set layout "1 Column Wide" and add separate containers for every two fields:

Containter start (2 Columns Wide)

First Name

Sutname

Container end

Containter start (2 Columns Wide)

Job Title

Department

Containter end

To get this to work, I had to move the variables out of a variable set. From https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-it-service-management/page/product/service-catalog-manage..., see this note under container start/split/end:

Variable sets are also considered as containers. So, a container start variable with a two-column layout under a variable set is not supported in Service Portal.
