Variable vs Variable Set & Breaks

We are working on a project written on Helsinki, and having issues with Variables and Variable Set on an Order Guide within the Service Portal, Just wanted to reach out about it and see what other people have seen.

Currently we have a two column, alternating sides, variable set, the issue being that we are looking to add containers and breaks. Which don't work in the variable set.

So I changed them all over to normal variables, and the breaks and containers work, but the performance is absolutely terrible. It renders the page completely useless.

So I suppose my question is, is there a way to use breaks and containers within a variable set? Or is there a known issue with using breaks and containers on variables causing performance issues?

Hey Jonathan,

Did you get an answer to this?   I am finding the same issue here on Jakarta.   Breaks work perfectly in normal variables, but do not seem to display within variable sets.   This is only on the Service Portal.   When you hit try me in a catalog item, the break works perfectly.

Yep, can't happen. It has to be in the variables and not the variable set.

I know it's not a great response, but it's the truth!
